How much does ChanTan Studio cost? No monthly plan — you pay as you go with prepaid credits. What you pay for, what's free, and the one recurring charge.
There are no subscription plans to choose today. ChanTan Studio is pay-as-you-go: you buy prepaid credits and spend them as you build.
That means no monthly fee for building, no tier to pick, nothing to cancel, and nothing that renews behind your back.
$1 = 128 credits. Credits never expire.

The only recurring charge
Hosting for apps you've published. The first month of hosting is free for each published app; after that it's 128 credits per month per published app (less than $1), coming out of your credit wallet on the same day of the month the app was first published.

If your wallet can't cover it, you get email reminders and about 7 days to add credits before the site is paused. A paused site is never deleted — funding your wallet brings it back automatically. Taking a site offline stops its hosting charge.
Why there are no tiers
Every build is a different size, so a flat monthly price would either overcharge light users or throttle heavy ones. With credits, a one-line text change costs a fraction of a full site build — and you only ever pay for what the AI actually did.
The $ / $$ / $$$ marks on the engine picker under the chat box are relative hints, not fixed prices.
Which package should I buy?
There are six fixed packages, and the bonus is included in the credits you receive:

$200 and $500 both add 20% extra credits — those are the best value per dollar. If you're just trying ChanTan out, $10 or $50 is plenty to see what it does.
Saw a "Pro plan" or "Business plan" somewhere?
Anything shown with a "Coming Soon" label on the marketing site is not purchasable yet. Paid monthly plans may appear later. Today, credits are the only way to pay for building.
⚠️ If a page ever asks you to subscribe to a monthly ChanTan plan, that isn't us — the only payments in ChanTan Studio are credit top-ups, domain purchases, and the automatic hosting charge from your credit wallet.
Ways to spend less
- A free daily spin on the Wallet page adds 5–500 credits, once a day.
- Cashback (2%–12%, based on your loyalty tier) comes off the price of your next top-up.
- Referrals give you 500 credits when a friend makes their first paid top-up.
- Plan first mode lets you approve what the AI intends to do before it builds anything — nothing is charged for the build until you approve.
- Small, clear requests cost less than vague ones the AI has to redo.
Honest limits
- No custom amounts — only the six packages above.
- Card only. No PayPal, bank transfer or cash for credit purchases.
- No price quote before a build — costs appear in "Credit activity" after the work finishes.
- Domain prices vary by ending; the real price for the exact domain you want is shown on the purchase screen before you pay.
