Account Settings in ChanTan Studio: A Full Tour

Everything in ChanTan Studio Settings, simply: change your name, photo, email, password, theme and language, and find your credits, invites and GitHub link.

Settings is where everything about you lives — your name, your photo, your email, your password, your money and your invites. Nothing about the apps you build lives here; those settings sit inside each project.

Open Settings from your account menu in the top-right of the dashboard.

Settings has six sections down the left side:

On a phone the six sections scroll sideways instead of stacking down the left.

Account: your profile

Under "Profile" you can change your picture with "Change picture" and your name in "Full name". Then press "Save Changes".

"Save Changes" stays greyed out until you actually change something — so if it looks dead, nothing has been edited yet.

Pictures can be PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or AVIF, up to 8 MB. A bigger file is refused with "That image is over 8 MB — please choose a smaller one."

Account: change your email address

Yes — you can change the email you sign in with.

1. Find "Email address". Your current address is shown but can't be typed over.
2. Type the new address under "New email".
3. Press "Change email".
4. Open the inbox of the new address and confirm the change. If you're asked, also approve it from your current inbox.

Limit: 3 attempts per hour. It's refused if the address already belongs to another account, isn't a valid address, or is already yours.

Account: appearance and language

Under "Appearance & language":

• "Theme" — "Light", "Dark" or "System".
• "App language" — English · العربية · Français · Español · ไทย.

⚠️ This changes the Studio, not your websites. The note under the picker says it plainly: "Changes the app interface — not the sites you build." To change the language of a site you built, ask the AI in that project's chat.

Arabic is deliberately shown left-to-right here — only the words change, the layout never mirrors.

Account: what ChanTan knows about you

The card "What Chantan knows about you" is a short note about how you like to work. It's read on every build, in every project, and by the voice expert — so you say a preference once instead of repeating it in every message.

Type into the box and press "Save". A counter shows how much of the 2,000-character limit you've used; typing simply stops at the limit, nothing is cut off behind your back.

Good things to write there:

• The language you usually build in
• Your design taste, and colours or styles to avoid
• The kind of business you build for
• A must-have you always want (dark mode, big text, a contact form)

The product's own example: "I prefer clean, minimal designs. I build mostly in Arabic. Always add a dark mode. Don't use purple gradients."

Keep project-specific requests out of it — say those in that project's chat. And don't put anything secret there; treat it as notes, not a safe.

You can also just tell the AI in chat "remember that I…" — it's the same note behind both.

Security

"Password" and "Devices & data" live here. Full details are in Security and privacy and Export your data.

Billing

Shows your balance, the credits currently held by work that's running, your tier, your cashback and your last 5 activity lines. Two buttons: "Add credit" and "Receipts & payment methods".

The receipts button only appears after your first payment — if you haven't paid yet, it isn't missing, it just isn't there yet.

Referrals

Your personal invitation link with a "Copy" button, plus "N friends joined" and "N / 10 rewards earned".

You earn 500 credits when a friend makes their first paid top-up, up to 10 times.

Email

One switch — "Product tips and project reminders" — plus "Email language" and "Timezone". See Email preferences and notifications.

Integrations

GitHub connects here, so you can keep a private copy of your project's files on your own GitHub account. Provider keys and database details are not here — they live inside each project.

ℹ️ Connecting GitHub is not a way to sign in. ChanTan Studio accounts are email and password only — there is no "Sign in with GitHub" and no "Sign in with Google". Disconnecting GitHub never affects your ability to log in.

Can I delete my account here?

No — there is no delete-account button today. If you want your account removed, write to support@chantan.studio.

✅ You've seen everything. If a setting isn't in one of these six sections, it belongs to a project, not to your account — look inside the project's "Manage" menu instead.
