Top up your ChanTan Studio wallet by card in six clicks — the six fixed packages, the bonus credits each one includes, and how to spend your cashback on them.
Topping up takes about a minute. You put money into a prepaid wallet, and it turns into credits you spend as you build — nothing renews and unused credits never expire. (Wondering how that compares to a monthly plan? That's answered in plans and pricing explained.)
$1 = 128 credits. Payment is by card only, through a secure checkout page. ChanTan never sees your card number.
1. Open your Wallet
Click the ⚡ number in the top bar of any page, or open "Wallet" from the menu.
2. Pick a package
Scroll to the "Add credit" panel and click the package you want. A blue ring shows which one is selected — $50 is selected for you when the page opens.
There are six fixed packages and nothing else. The bonus is already included in the credits column:

⚠️ Custom amounts aren't possible. If you try to pay something like $37 you'll see "Choose one of the top-up packages."
3. Check the line under the cards
It spells out exactly what you're getting — for example "$50 = 7,040 credits (includes 640 bonus)".
4. Use your cashback, if you have any
Cashback is money ChanTan gives back to you on the top-ups you've already made — a percentage set by your loyalty badge, which grows the more you've spent. It builds up quietly in the background; you don't apply for it. Where it comes from, and everything else that earns free credits, is in rewards, affiliate and the prize wheel.
If cashback is ready, tick "Apply $X cashback" to use it as a discount on this purchase.
You still receive the full credits of the package you chose — cashback lowers the price, not the credits.
5. Press "Buy credits"
You land on the secure payment page. It shows "ChanTan Studio, Inc." and the line "ChanTan wallet credits — {n} credits for AI Editor usage".
Pay by card. You can choose to see the price in your local currency or in US dollars.
6. Come back to ChanTan
You'll see the green banner "Payment received. Stripe is adding the credits to your wallet."
✅ Done! Your "Available balance" goes up on its own — usually within seconds. The page refreshes itself, so there is nothing to press. Your new credits are ready to build with immediately.
If something goes wrong

| You paid but the balance hasn't changed | Stay on the Wallet page; it updates itself. If it's been more than a few minutes, reload once, then write to support@chantan.studio with the date and amount. |
| "Choose one of the top-up packages." | You tried a custom amount. Pick one of the six packages. |
| "Could not open the billing portal. Try again." | Press the button again. |
⚠️ A payment can never be counted twice, and it is never lost. If a payment was confirmed, the credits arrive.
Receipts and changing your card
These are not on the Wallet page. Go to Settings → Billing → "Receipts & payment methods".
That button only appears after your first payment.
Honest limits
- Card only. There is no PayPal, no bank transfer and no cash option.
- Only the six packages above — no custom amounts.
- Cashback is all-or-nothing: ticking the box uses your whole cashback balance on that purchase, and it needs to be at least $10 before it can be used.
